Romiley Golf Club

Romiley Golf Club was founded on 29th July 1897 and was originally known as Woodley and Romiley Golf Club. Course architect, Tom Renouf, used the natural contours of the land to plan and design what is now regarded as one of the best layouts in Cheshire with stunning views across the county and the foothills of the Peak District National Park.

The golf course measures 6412 yards and has a par of 70 with every hole tree-lined making an idyllic yet challenging course.

Romiley Golf Club offers excellent amenities for visiting players and societies. After your round, refreshments and light snacks are available in the clubhouse bar or if you prefer, take advantage of the fantastic catering facilities in the Club's fine restaurant.

The atrocious weather conditions during the day and early evening did not deter over 80 members turning up for the 103rd AGM of Romiley Golf Club Ltd, and the Chairman of the Board, Neil McRoberts, got the proceedings underway at 7:35pm.

After taking a few moments of silent reflection to remember the five members who had passed away during the past twelve months, the elections of Martin Clark, Lady Captain Francine Walburn and Captain-elect Simon Hebden to serve as directors were passed unanimously.
